Do you love the sea and dream of galloping on a golden Mediterranean beach?
Now you have your chance. Enjoy exciting gallops on the beach on alert and happy Andalusian horses!
This ride passes from the inland to the sea and through the typical landscape. After riding through beautiful pine forests, you will reach the Bay L’Estartit. The landscape opens up and the horses know what to expect, they love it! The ride then heads back to the farm through fields and medieval villages.

Prel. Program 2018
Day 1 - Arrival
If you ordered a transfer, you will be met at the airport and driven to the riding center (about 2 hours). During the welcome dinner you can go through the week's program and discuss the type of horse that everyone wants.
Day 2. Towards L’ESTARTIT BAY
Today you will leave the riding centre in direction L’Estartit Bay. Passing villages like Albons and Torroella de Montgrí, you will follow the bed of our third most important river, the Ter River. You will have a short break for a cowboy picnic at the beginning of the natural park of the dunes and Medes Islands. You will sight the Montgrí Castle, and notice how the landscape changes to dunes, in the Montgrí and Medes Islands Natural Park. You will arrive at L’Estartit where you can go shopping, stroll, go to the beach, etc. And, of course, you will enjoy a fantastic dinner!
Day 3. To the beach
To the beach! Our horses gallop on the sand, playing with the waves! You will cross River Ter to get in the Baix Empordà. Wonderful views of the rice fields will accompany you. You will cross the medieval village of Peratallada with its stone houses and streets. At the hotel, a beautiful rural guesthouse, you will taste a homemade Catalan dinner.
Day 4. BAIX EMPORDÀ
The trail leads back to the riding centre, passing through fruit orchards near the Ter River as you follow the riverbed. You will ride between meadows and rice fields accompanied by ducks and migratory birds coming from the Medes Islands. You will enjoy a quite active day and a last gallop along the riverbed. Back at the riding centre, it is time to enjoy our farewell dinner and to get ready for next day departure.
